О фильме:
Ученые-медики Александр Гиреев и Владимир Шульгин изобрели лекарство, которое может вылечить любое заболевание, даже раковую опухоль. Но препарат, который может спасти мир, становится яблоком раздора для всей семьи. Старший сын Гиреева, Евгений, решает помочь отцу с продвижением. Дочь Полина уверена, что брату нужны только слава и деньги, и он готов предать отца. А сам Гиреев оказывается не готов к компромиссам, которых требует от него рынок большой фармы. Ведь выпуск лекарств — это прибыльный бизнес. И зачем производить то, что вылечит людей, если можно зарабатывать больше, пока они болеют.
